Maureen O'Leary-Pickard
Maureen O'Leary-Pickard established the Performance Group in 1995.
Before founding the Performance Group, Maureen was the senior Human
Resources professional at an independent daily newspaper and prior
to that a large public library system. She has also worked in the
automotive sector; with small business and in the public sector.
Maureen’s broad range of experience in human resource management has included organizational design & development; leadership and performance management; executive coaching; labour and employee relations; plant closures; training; benefits and compensation; as well as workplace policy development. Maureen lectures on human resources management at the University of Western Ontario and at Fanshawe College. Her education includes a BA from the University of Western Ontario, Labour Relations from Queens University, Covey Leadership training; Dispute Resolution and the Diploma in Adult Education program at St. Francis Xavier University. She is certified in a variety of assessment tools including: Team Management Assessments (TMS®) and the Prevue Assessment tool®. Maureen is a Certified Human Resource Specialist (CHRP) and a Facilitator for The Leadership Challenge.

Dr. Kate Partridge
Dr. Kate Partridge is a Registered Psychologist and leader of
Assessment and Stress Management practice at The Performance Group.
Kate offers Stress Release Seminars for groups, provides individual
consulting and assessment as well as corporate stress audits. She
has more than 18 years of specialized experience in working to help
people and organizations deal with the physical and emotional problems
that result from stress, depression and anxiety.
Kate is an experienced speaker and trainer who present seminars
to a wide variety of corporations, government agencies, and charitable
organizations. Her training programs are based on well-researched
and scientifically-informed techniques, and they are presented in
a warm and lively manner that encourages participation and active
learning. She has published both scholarly and popular articles
on stress and stress management.
Kate also provides psychological assessment services in personality
profiling, stress evaluation, and executive leadership coaching.
She is a qualified user of and group facilitator with the Myers-Briggs
Type Indicator.
Kate has a B.A. from the University of Toronto, a Masters Degree from Concordia University, and a Ph.D. from Simon Fraser University. She is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Psychology, University of Western Ontario. She is also a member of the International Stress Management Association, the Society for Personality Assessment, the Canadian Association of Psychologists in Disability Assessment, and the Ontario Psychological Association. She is registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, and with the Canadian Register of Health Service Professionals in Psychology.
